Research ethics
Scientific research is conducted according to the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (2018). The following principles form the main pillars of the (to be) conducted study:

Important
No scientific studies or research questions will be accepted that may cause harm to public health or contribute to the stigmatisation of (minority) groups, discrimination, hate or contribute to manipulation of data.
Political advice
As a scientific advisor in the political arena, I provide objective information and insights on public health, infectious diseases, and health disparities while preserving discretion with political parties and entities. I strive for a value-based approach and translate scientific knowledge for politics and policymaking. However, the information provided is subject to change based on current knowledge and developments, which will always be acknowledged before communication.
NOTE!
A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) can be signed before the consultation.
Academia
Critical appraisal and review of manuscripts of researchers or students (Bachelor, Master, and PhD) are conducted in line with current methodology and requirements from journals. Student thesis guidance is performed according to university criteria.
Students from faculties where I am affiliated or contracted cannot apply for my services.
Requests for ghostwriting services will be declined.
I do not peer-review manuscripts to which I have contributed as a feedback provider before submission.
Intense collaboration on (to be) published research is either disclosed in the manuscript or returned for co-authorship by the journal author guidelines.
